HIV prevalence is again high among teenagers between 15 to 17 years in the republic of Uganda according to the Director General, Uganda Aids Commission, Dr. Christine Ondoa.
The HIV prevalence is high among teens between 15 to 17 years may be because Dr. Sylivia Tamale of Makerere University sometime back explained that sex is sweet at the age of 16.
Dr. Ondoa says that the HIV/AIDS infection is acute in the age bracket of 15-17 and the figures worsen when these youth joins universities. The Aids director also says that 67% of married Christian couples have extra martial sex. She says that married Christian couples are having extra marital sex with their former partners, friends and spouses of their friends. Ends
