Ugandan president Paul Kagame and the president of Equatorial Guinea Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo have witnessed the signing by their respective foreign affairs ministers of a general cooperation agreement, which has marked the beginning of extensive bilateral ties.
Obiang arrived in Rwandan capital Kigali for a two-day state visit on Monday as the two Presidents looked towards boosting trade.
The agreement covers a number of sectors, including economy, investment; job creation, security, transport, and mutual support in global affairs.
A key component of the agreement between Guinea and Rwanda include frequent flights from Rwanda to Equatorial Guinea.
