The former vice president Specioza Wandera Kazibwe has asked female representatives in Somali parliament to get economically empowered in order to avoid the syndrome of begging for salary increments.
Speaking to a section of women members of parliament from Somali parliament at hotel Africana, the former VP also asked them to leave an exemplarily life and make research in order to come up with good policies.
Kazibwe further asked them to be observant in their constancies and be able to work with people who are experts to be able to help them understand issues.
The group is in Uganda to study how business run at the Ugandan parliament, as their country tries to recover from the war that has ravaged the country for years.
