300 Discrimination cases reported to Equal Opportunity commission

Though the constitution of Uganda spells clearly that all Ugandans are entitled to equal opportunities in everything or aspect of society but this is not the case where most Ugandans are not accessing those opportunities equally making the commission register over 300 complaints across the country.

According to the commission’s spokes person, Atuhairwe K. Christine says that the biggest number of complaints are against govt institution with other against the general public with central and western regions registering the highest discrimination percentages.

The equal opportunities commission is now urging the general public to give equal chances to every Ugandan without discrimination
