Nzei is accused of still holding NSSF land

The executive director of the National Social Security Fund Geraldine Ssali has called upon the courts of law to come to their rescue and force Amos Nzei to give NSSF another piece of land.
Geraldine Ssali has made the call while meeting members of the select committee on NSSF, on matters regarding the several investments made by NSSF including buying land.
Ssali told the members that the 365acres of land that was acquired by NSSF in Temangalo at a cost of Ug.Shs11 billion, 56acres are located in a wetland and this has affected their investment.
She noted that several negotiations between Amos Nzei and NSSF to swap the wetland for another piece of land but this seems to be in vain.
Geraldine Ssali now says that they want the courts of law to force Amos Nzei allocate another piece of land out of a wetland which is adjacent to this Temangalo land because they need to set up an estate on this land.
However the members have also attacked NSSF for investing in buying pieces of land that have issues of contention, where they have pointed out the embattled Temangalo, Namirembe, Lubowa and other pieces of land.
The members contend that NSSF does not have full possession of such land for it is occupied and some of it is located in wetlands.
