Parliament of UgandaParliament’s committee on Gender Labour and Social Affairs has recommended government bans all the unlicensed employment agencies that cause despair for Ugandans who work abroad.  The chairperson of the committee Nakasongora District Woman MP Margret Komuhangi while presenting the committee report for the financial Year 2016/17 on the ministry of gender Labour and social Development during a session chaired by the speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga says the ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development should work with Communications commission to ban all advertisements of unlicensed Employment which coerce the public to work abroad.

Komuhangi says the Ugandans are not also oriented well where they are going which leaves them helpless abroad with no government intervention. She says these employment companies sweet-talk Ugandans through advertisement but later they do not get their hearts desires. She says the ministry of Labor and social development needs to unite with embassies, civil aviation Authorities and local leaders to cover loophole where Ugandans are trafficked to go abroad for employment.
