The President of Forum for Democratic Change, Col. Kiiza Besigye has said the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) have no future. He says the political future of Uganda lies in opposition parties.
Besigye urges Ugandans to join Forum for Democratic Change and parties under Inter-Party Coalition in general to get rid of NRM rule.
This is contained in the news statement Besigye who prepares to contest for president for the third time issued to the members of the press today.
He was reacting to remarks made on Sunday by the Secretary General of NRM, Amama Mbabazi that opposition parties in Uganda have no future. Besigye says the people of Uganda need opposition for development and not the ‘corrupt’ NRM government.
