Farmers in Entebbe have been motivated by the supply of high quality piglets to boost their income and livelihood. 30 farmers each received two piglets male and female from LAUMA Christian training and teaching company in an effort to help the people with low income have hybrid piglets which grow fast and give them quick returns. The farmers who benefited in Entebbe, Katabi and Kitala were mostly women. The women farmers in Entebbe say that other women who want to earn quick through animal keeping should pick interest in hybrid pigs .
The director LAUMA Christian training and teaching company Rev.Robert Muhwezi says that his company will give out crop planting materials to farmers and more animals so as farmers are not left out in income generation while looking after their families. The coordinator of LAUMA in Kiboga and Kyankwanzi districts, Isaac Tusubira says that local community in his area has benefited a lot from such assistance and improved their life.
