Members of Parliament on the Parliamentary Presidential Committee today (Thursday August 25,2016 )demanded that the Minister of State  for Luwero triangle Hon.Denis Galabuzi Sozi furnishes the house with a list of all the war claimants to be compensated saying MPs are fade up with the growing list for the beneficiaries.

Col Fred Mwesigye,the Chairman of the Committee while meeting the ministers under the prime ministers’ office ,the MP for Mawogola South in Sembabule district, Joseph Sekabito Kitayimbwa, Nyabusozi MP Col.Fed Mwesigye  and Bujenje County MP Lt.Patrick Kasumba said that   the list of beneficiaries has been growing yet by this time, they expect it to be going done since some have been receiving compensation.

Hon.Sekabito says that list of persons who are supposed to receive compensation be verified and put in sub county offices so that the  beneficiaries are known to avoid new people always cropping up to claim compensation.

Hon.Kasumba said that people are even not feeling the impact of Luwero-Rwenzori triangle ministry in their area since the services promised to reach in these areas like safe water, schools, roads and hospitals are not available.

Denis Galabuzi Sozi, the Luwero triangle minister however assured the MPs that he will provide the required verified list of all war claimants who need compensation.

He agreed with the MPs that there has been duplication in compensation war claimants causing endless demand for payment.

Sozi said that it’s now difficult for any person to access such a list since they have security features of each genuine beneficiary.
