Health experts have revealed that hypertension is among the top undetected diseases in the country which is responsible for several sudden deaths.
Hypertension also known as blood pressure is a long term medical condition in which the blood pressure in arteries is persistently elevated.
Dr. Anders Barasa a consultant cardiologist at Agha khan University hospital says cases of this disease are increasing due to change in lifestyle among Ugandans mainly attributing this to most parts of the country getting urbanized.
Barasa advises that people should always exercise to reduce the chances of contracting the disease.
This he revealed during the launch of the Agha khan University hospital free medical camp to be held on the 23rd to 25th of October 2016 targeting 10,000people.
