The MP for Mukono North, Betty Nambooze has warned opposition parties against forming cliques.
She urges them to embark on the common goal of removing President Museveni and his National Resistance Movement government from power.
Speaking to journalists today in Kampala, Nambooze said nursing cliques will favour the ruling National Resistance Movement government to win 2011 general lections. Nambooze is a leading promoter of Ssuubi 2011, a political pressure made up of the former ministers of Buganda kingdom.
Although the group claims to be embracing all people, it invites only the promoters of the Inter Party Coalition. The main stream Democratic Party headed by Norbert Mao is opposed to Ssuubi and the inter party coalition.
Many DP officials claim that Nambooze’s pressure group is similar to the failed Kabaka Yekka and Uganda Peoples Congress alliance.
