The introduction of new uniforms in the Police force has raised eyebrows among opposition politicians in Uganda.
The President of Forum for Democratic Change, Col. Kiiza Besigye says the sudden changes in the police attire are creating confusion among members of the public.
He notes that some of the new uniforms are similar to the army fatigues, while other opposition politicians have warned that the confusion could create room for fraudsters and even terrorists to infiltrate the security system.
Besigye wants the government of Uganda to come up clearly and explain the sudden change in police uniforms.
