The minister of Uganda for Disabled and Elderly, Sulaiman Madaada wants more disabled MPs in Parliament.

He says disabled and elderly people have a lot of problems so they need more people in Parliament to advocate for their rights.

Addressing the disabled persons in Kayunga town council today, Madaada said an increment in the number of disabled MPs will allow handicapped persons to lobby for more service delivery.

The Minister says disabled persons in Uganda are over two million people so they need more representation in the house.

He also says the disabled persons should be represented on the East African Legislative Assembly.
