Police have arrested two most wanted criminals at Kalerwe market in Kampala district. The suspects are detained at the Central Police Station in Kampala.

The Spokesperson of Police, Judith Nabakooba says the suspects were arrested in collaboration with the area residents.

The suspects were found in possession of a sub machinegun, four rifles and several rounds of ammunitions.

Nabakooba says the suspects have been on the list of most wanted criminals in Kampala.

She has declined to reveal their names saying it might jeopardize police investigation. Nabakooba however says police has got some tips that could allow the force to arrest more people.
