Aggrey Bagiire, failing to get capable road contractors for road works which link Uganda to Kenya from Karamoja region, government calls for the construction companies to apply for bidding, Ministry of Works is faced with predicament of attracting competent road contractors in Karamoja area officials have revealed, region has enough local contractors for such road works but that the problem comes while searching for firms to take over works for the tarmacking of roads., State Minister for Transport, they do not find any firm qualifying for road works since only incompetent contractors are mostly submitting their bidding documents for the road works
